The information system and software procedures of the Website normally acquire some Personal Data as part of standard functioning. The transmission of those is an inherent feature of Internet communication protocols. All Data processing of this website are managed from Alithea Srl and its employees and collaborators. No Data will be never distributed.
Personal Data given by the users, who submit requests of services, are processed only in order to accomplish the service requested and are not communicated to third party subjects, except for cases of necessity or legal requirements.
When services are requested, the user is free to give or not to give the access to Personal Data, except for Browser Data as specified above. Sometimes, the service requested may be unavailable due to the lack of the user’s acceptance.
Procedure of Personal Data processing
Personal Data are processed with manual and automatized procedures.
Specific security measures are implemented in order to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect uses of the website or unauthorized access.
The Processing we offer, with your explicit consent where requested, has these purposes:
a. to enable the delivery of the requested services and the autonomous management of request/order or reserved area, to which you can access through the registration or the creation of a user profile for the service forfeiture, including collection, storage and elaboration of your Personal Data for technical, operational and administrative purposes and for communications;
b. for the Alithea Srl website navigation and consultation;
c. to answer to assistance or information request that we will receive by e-mail, telephone or chat through the page “Contact Us” of our Website or the request form;
d. to meet legal requirements;
e. for direct marketing with e-mail for all the services you requested in order to pursue the legitimate interest of Alithea Srl for product or services promotion, unless you didn’t give your acceptance;
f. to develop studies, research and marketing statistics; to send you advertising and information material, marketing information or surveys to improve our service ("customer satisfaction");
g. to make personalized marketing offer according to the products or services you are interested in or you acquired. h. for security purposes and prevention of fraudulent behavior, the Owner has activated an automatic control system that analyses the users’ behavior on the website, this system is also associated with Personal Data processing such as the IP address. For this reason, if the user tries to conduct fraudulent action, Alithea Srl reserves the right to take any action to protect itself.
4. Legal basis and optional or mandatory nature of the use of information
Article 6(1) (b) of the Regulation is the legal basis of Personal Data use for the purposes listed in section 3 (a-b-c). The acceptance of Personal Data processing is optional, but when the acceptance is missing, the requested services could be unable. The purposes listed in section 3(d) represent a legal treatment of Personal Data according to Art. 6(1)(c) of the Regulation.
Personal Data treatments for marketing purposes explained in section 3 (f) or third party communication explained in section 3 (g) need your explicit consent, as required from Art. 6(1)(a) of the Regulation. The acceptance of Personal Data processing for these purposes is optional and doesn’t affect the services functionality. Art. 6.1.f of the Regulation is the legal basis of Personal Data processing listed in section 3 (e) for products or services e-mail marketing purposes.
In case you decide to disable the processing of your information, as listed in section 3(e) and 3(f), you can send an email to

Profiling processes listed in section 3(h) find their basis in Art. 6.1.f. of the Regulation, in order to which the Owner can personalize his marketing communication.
Data Processing listed in section 3(i) finds its legal basis in the legitimate interest of the Owner in order to detect fraud or irregularities, according to Art. 6.1.f. pf the Regulation.
5. Data Recipients
Personal Data (for the purposes explained in Section 3) could be shared with:
a. person responsible for the quality of the processing, that is:
I) people, companies or professional firms, which assist Alithea Srl for accounting, administrative, legal, fiscal, financial or debt recovery practices;
II) subjects involved in the Services provision (for example: national of foreign Registration Authority for the transmission of technical and administrative documents and Maintainer modules; management Authority of the WHOIS database; which register personal data of domain name; suppliers of payment services with credit cards ( Intesa, Paypal,..)
III) subjects involved in technical maintenance activities (including the maintenance of network devices or electronic communication networks)
IV) Italian or foreign Companies for statistical or administrative purposes ( “Recipients”)
b. subjects, entities or authorities required to inform personal data in accordance with provisions laid down by law ( for example during criminal investigations juditial authority can require internet traffic logs);
c. people authorized by Alithea Srl to treat Personal Data in order to manage activities strictly related to Service’s provision, who have committed themselves to confidentially or are under an appropriate statutory obligation of confidentiality as Alithea Srl employees;
d. commercial partners for their autonomous purposes, only if you gave specific consent.

6. Personal data transfer
Part of your Personal Data will be shared with Recipients who could be located outside the European Economic Area. Alithea Srl assure that the processing of the Personal Data from the Recipients will respect the Regulation. Transfers could be based on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
More information are available from the Owner.
About the domain name service registration, the data are transferred to the subjects listed in section 2 (e) of this policy: in some cases, such treatment implies the transfer of data outside the European Economic Area. According to the existing privacy legislation and according to Article 49 (1) (b) of the Regulation, the transfer is fundamental for the service use.
7. Data Retention
Personal Data used for the purposes listed in section 3 (a-b-c) will be stored no longer than strictly necessary. In any case, Alithea Srl will store your Personal Data for the entire time provided for by the Italian legislation regarding the protection of their interests (Art. 2946 c.c. e ss.).
Personal Data used for the purposes listed in section 3 (d) will be stored only for the time provided for by specific legislation. For example, traffic data will be stored for six years in case of purposes of justice, other way only for six months.
Personal Data used for the purposes listed in section 3 (e) (f) will be stored until the withdrawal of consent or after three years from the moment you cease being Alithea Srl’s costumer or if you registered on the website but didn’t acquire any product or service.
Alithea Srl can always store Personal Data for the entire time provided for by the italian legislation regarding the protection of their interests Art. 2947(1)(3)c.c.).

8. Data Subjects' Rights
You have the right to obtain from Alithea Srl, whenever needed, the access to your Personal Data as well the rectification or erasure of such data, or object to the processing (pursuant to Article 20 of the Regulation). You also have the right to obtain the restriction of the processing concerning them (pursuant Article 18 of the Regulation) or a structured format about portability data, in cases provided by article 20 of the Regulation.

When abuses or spamming activities are reported from the user -forbidden by contract, see paragraph 8 of Service General Conditions- or in case of other request for the exercise of rights ex. Art.15 et seq of the Regulation, Alithea Srl, without considering the merits of the cause, will promptly inform the costumer/owner and will provide to the interested subjects the costumer/owner contact details.
If you consider that the processing of your Personal Data infringes the Regulation, you always have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Garante of Personal Data Protection) pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation,
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy has been in force since 25.05.2018. Alithea Srl reserves the rights to modify or update, partly or completely, its content, also depending on potential variation of the Regulation. Where the Policy's modifications will impact significant changes to the service or towards the users, Alithea Srl will notify any change directly to the user concerned.
